Studio portraits are shot in our our Barrington studio at 728 S. Northwest Highway. We have a 2500 square foot location that enables us to do a lot of things here from shooting family groups, individuals and commercial.
Our on-premises lab enables us to print your canvas wall portraits. This ensures that your portraits are printed exactly how the artist anticipated they will look in their final fashion.

With today’s technologies it’s common for us to shoot portraits in the studio and then replace the background in post production as seen on the portrait to the left.
The first five portraits were all shot in the studio with backgrounds that were most appropriate for the mood, color and style of the portrait. While mosts of the backgrounds we shoot with are dark, we strive to make the faces the place of greatest contras; meaning where do you look first?

These next four portrait images were shot in the studio and then a different background was dropped in. I'm always looking for cool places to shoot for backgrounds from those local and around the world.
You'll notice Chicago in two of the portraits. The other is the interior of a factory. Thee shot of my friend George was shot in the studio while his motorcycle was parked outside thew studio. I decided to take a shot of it just in case, and later came up with this concept.
